YZi Labs announces its first AI investment: VideoTutor, an AI Education Agent that transforms questions into personalized, animated lessons, making high-quality tutoring widely accessible.Founded by 20-year-old serial entrepreneur Kai Zhao, VideoTutor leverages a language model with a Manim rendering pipeline to create precise, visually clear AI teaching videos. Since its May 2025 launch, the platform has reached 20,000 users and received over 1,000 global API integration requests from schools and learning platforms.YZi Labs led the $11M seed round, joined by JinQiu Fund (ByteDance-affiliated), Baidu Ventures, Amino Capital, and others, supporting founders using AI to democratize education.
